Happy Thanksgiving

Coming Next Week:

November 22-24: Half-days for students, parent/teacher conferences.
November 25-27: Thanksgiving break
Monday, November 23: K-2 Remote Student Material Pick-up

In the Near Future:

Monday, November 30: 1st Grade Spirit Day
Wednesday, December 2: BOE Meeting - 7pm - WGHS Library
Tuesday, December 1: Holiday Wreath and Poinsetta Pick Up will be in the front circle at Stonehedge Elementary School between 3:30pm - 5:30pm.

Important Information:

We've had a pick up scheduled for our Grade 2 Remote Families for awhile now, but we now have materials and pictures for Grades K and 1, too!  So, all remote families please come to the Gold Lobby on Monday 11/23 from 12:00-3:00  to pick up literacy supplies (grade 2 only), school pictures, and music kits.

As a reminder, we are no longer mailing out report cards to all families. Report cards will be available via Schooltool beginning Saturday, December 14.  Click here to access the viewing instructions. Here is a short video that also explains how to access the report cards online. If you need to update your email or phone number on Schooltool, please click this link. If you need a hard copy of your child's report card mailed to your home, call the office.

Positivity Project: Gratitude:

Gratitude means that you are aware of and thankful for good things that happen. Gratitude is the quality of feeling and expressing thankfulness and appreciation. It is an affirmation that there is goodness in other people and the world, and that we have received that goodness. People with the strength of gratitude have a readiness to show appreciation for kindness and also to return kindness. A leading expert, Robert Emmons, calls gratitude a “relationship-strengthening emotion because it requires us to see how we’ve been supported and affirmed by other people.”
