Weekend Update May 20th

Trivia Winners
As a school community, we are had a great time with the morning trivia questions on the announcements and our classroom discussions.  The winners received a planting kit with a planter, some soil and a red oak acorn.  The trivia winners are:

3rd Grade Virtual Field Trip
3rd grade had a virtual field trip with the Mariners Museum.  They discussed what European explorers were searching for on their journey to the Americas.





WGHS French  Club Visit
The high school French Club visited Stonehedge on Thursday.  The French Club students prepared all of their materials they used themselves and each group taught their own unique French lesson.  Hopefully, they will be inspired to pursue teaching as their profession!

Unity Day

The West Genesee High School Umoja Club visited our kindergarten and 1st grade students. They read the book  I Am Enough, by Grace Byers.  They also worked on activities on acceptance and inclusion of all people.
