Important Information:

Scholastic Book Fair

You’re invited to shop at our Scholastic Book Fair! 

We are able to offer in-person shopping for books!  Every purchase at our Book Fair benefits the school.  Summer is coming so stock up on some of your children’s favorite titles/authors for summer vacation! The in-person shopping experience will be held outdoors, behind the Gold side of the building, June 16th and 17th  3:30 pm – 6:30 pm.  If you are interested in volunteering, please email stonehedgebookfair@gmail.com.

Reminder to Remote Students & Families 

I hope your year has gone well and that you finish strong!  You will need all of your learning materials through the last day of school, but then we will take inventory to get ready for the next school year.  To that end, you will need to return your Chromebook with the charger and all of the readers and texts that you have been using.  Used workbooks do not need to be returned.  Since Thursday, June 24 is a half-day, you can return your things to the Gold Office between 12:00-3:30, or you can drop them off on Friday, June 25 between 8:30-3:30.  Thank you!

PTA:

Please join our PTA

If you have been an active member, you already know that the Stonehedge PTA is a great group of moms, dads and teachers.  If you have not been involved, we encourage you to join and enjoy the benefits. Of course, the number-one reason to join the PTA is to make our school better for children, but there are advantages for the parent as well. Joining our PTA will strengthen your connection to our school. While we have a great school, we know that it is not yet perfect. By getting involved you become part of the solutions, helping make positive changes. Our PTA plays an important role in fundraising to provide beneficial supplies and resources for our classes. Parenting is not easy. It helps to share ideas, concerns and experiences with other parents and educators in the community. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. By volunteering with your PTA, you gain valuable experiences.
